Steps of Bhakti Towards the Lord

On the 27th of February 2022, an awarding ceremony and the first Shiksha ceremony were held in Sri Krsna Mandir (the ISKCON temple of Nagarabhavi). H.G. Ravindra Nitai prabhu is a Bhakti-vriksha coach and the Center Head of yatra in ISKCON Nagarabhavi (Bangalore). The coordinators of Bhakti-vrikshas are the 2 maha-cakras of the yatra: H.G. Lokabandu Jagannath prabhu and H.G. Madana Mohan prabhu.

The Shiksha ceremony is meant for participants of the Bhakti-steps (slow milestones to assist one’s gradual spiritual progress) program, and this time a total of 89 devotees were nominated!  Sraddhavan — 60, Krsna Sevak — 10, Krsna Sadak — 11, Krsna Upasak — 6, Srila Prabhupada Asraya — 2.

On behalf of CDM, they also granted 4 badges and 4 certificates to the Bhakti-vriksha coordinators for their exceptional achievements in spreading Krsna consciousness. The following devotees received these awards:

1) H.G. Antharanga Vallabhi Mataji (Servant Leader) — ‘Runs high-quality Bhakti-vriksha programs and expert in book distribution’.

2) Bhaktin Saraswathi (servant leader) — ‘Specialised in teaching and training new Bhakti-vriksha leaders’.

3) H.G. Govinda Gururaj Prabhu (Sector Servant) — ‘Used unique skills in bringing new people to Krsna consciousness’.

4) H.G. Amathamayi Subhadra Mataji (Sector Servant) — ‘Expert in imparting skills to new Bhakti-vriksha leaders’.

Let us congratulate all these devotees and wish the participants of Bhakti-steps continuous progress, and to the leaders — ever new achievements!
